VERNA has experience in designing and implementing a number of systems necessary for automation of control and remote monitoring of agricultural products at grain storage enterprises.
Usually, elevators have the task of identifying, tracking and accounting of agricultural products entering the territory of the enterprise, so there is a need to have a stable database that all units of elevators and companies have access to for accounting and reporting.
To assess the quality of agricultural products, our system uses special equipment and software that allow weighing and sampling without human participation. Drivers stay in their machines during the weighing, sampling stages for quality control and unloading of agricultural products.
The operator provides access to unloading only after receiving positive results of laboratory tests, checking all information about the goods, the condition of the vehicle and the driver's performance.
RFID tags are installed on the windshield of all cars entering the elevator, and RFID readers are placed on the routes of vehicles at the enterprise.
Next to the unloader there is a scoreboard indicating the car number, and the driver receives a message with the serial number. At the same time, the RFID reader recognizes the tag on the windshield of the car to avoid confusion between different types of agricultural products.
The movement of vehicles on the territory of the enterprise is regulated by barriers, traffic lights, information boards, RFID tag readers, loudspeaker systems, sensors that record the position of cars on scales and sampling points, which together with the video surveillance system form a single integrated system.
Our VERNA design department develops and implements a video surveillance and photo recording system that covers automobile and rail cars, laboratory equipment areas, vehicle unloading and loading areas, as well as laboratory, registration and granary premises. Videos are stored on a secure server and the system has the ability to connect and view remotely. A video surveillance post with several monitors is organized for the security service.
We also equip the video surveillance system with video analytics function to recognize and recognize and record license plates of vehicles and railcars at all stages of processing. The system keeps video control of the location of each car and wagon on the scales and records all numbers during weighing, and also has the ability to remotely control and monitor.
We propose to use the Access Control System (ACS) with facial recognition function and breathalyzer to manage the access of staff, drivers and visitors to various areas of the enterprise, including laboratories, administrative premises and elevator facilities. VERNA specialists configure and distribute access levels for different user groups on the territory of the elevator.
In the access control system on the elevator, the system of emergency opening of turnstiles turnstile doors on evacuation routes in case of fire operates.
To obtain data wirelessly from electricity metering sensors on the elevator, we use LoRaWAN technology. We have successfully implemented a system of technological accounting of electricity and gas consumption for each facility on the elevator. This system automatically collects and aggregates measurement data and generates reports.
For customers, we develop and implement the project of expansion and construction of new nodes of network infrastructure for the system of automatic transport control, access control, video surveillance and dispatching communications. The system of low-current cables in the facility is implemented using optical and copper cable of the structured cable system. We will organize coverage of the elevator area with a wireless Wi-Fi network and install lightning protection systems.
On the central server, VERNA specialists configure the VMware ESXi hypervisor, install and configure RAID to increase the reliability of data storage. We also install and configure software that manages the hardware infrastructure of the implemented system.
The VERNA system on the elevator significantly optimizes processes and technological operations associated with the arrival and dispatch of vehicles and rail transport that transport and unload agricultural products.
The system successfully reduces the impact of the human factor on production processes and virtually eliminates cases of theft and abuse at the enterprise. Automation of processes allows you to significantly reduce the number of personnel.
The system provides a high level of control over weighing subsystems, improves the efficiency of asset management, and streamlines data collection and storage for analytics.
