General Meeting 2024 became one of the most important events of the year for the Ukrainian IT sector, bringing together more than 250 executives and top managers of leading IT companies. At the event, participants summed up the achievements of 2024.
This year, companies belonging to Kharkiv IT Cluster paid more than UAH 1.3 billion in taxes, which is 25% more compared to last year, and the total export of IT services reached 6.4 billion dollars. The main areas of work covered the development of IT education, the integration of digital technologies in business and communities, international partnership, support for veterans, advocacy of the interests of the industry and expansion of international influence.
Significant emphasis was placed on educational initiatives: more than 30,000 schoolchildren, students and teachers were involved in the programs. The first cartoons about technology for preschoolers were also created. In total, there were more than 30 events that brought together IT companies, educational institutions and government representatives.
The General Meeting presented a digital transformation strategy and outlined plans for 2025.
We hope that the Ukrainian IT community will continue to demonstrate incredible resilience and willingness to work for the good of the country, introducing innovations and developing human capital!
