VERNA designed, installed and launched a video surveillance system containing video analytics and integrated analytical functions into the access control system at Smart Granit, which is engaged in granite mining in Zaporizhzhya region.
As part of the program of large-scale re-equipment, modernization and renewal of production lines of Smart Granit, specialists from the Verne project department successfully completed a project to install a video surveillance system using video analytics. We conducted a technical inspection of the facility, developed technical documentation, including projects and estimates for IP video surveillance, identified the areas of application of video analytics and integrated video surveillance system with access control, as well as completed installation and commissioning work.
To ensure the restriction of access at the entrance to the enterprise, a system of automatic recognition of car license plates using video analytics was installed. Cameras track cars that are in the database, and after passing automatic identification, provide access to vehicles to the territory of the enterprise. Recognized numbers are used as a parameter to record the time of stay of vehicles in the controlled territory and quickly find the necessary video files, screenshots and video fragments in a multi-hour video archive.
To ensure security at the pass-through enterprise, an access control system with alcohol testing and facial recognition was designed and installed. Photos of all employees of the enterprise are entered into the general database, and before starting work, all employees undergo mandatory automatic alcohol testing, after which they gain access to the territory of the enterprise. Access to the administrative building is organized by cards and equipped with an intercom.
LLC “Smart Granit” is a company engaged in the production of granite materials such as crushed stone, crushed stone, seeding and sand-gravel mixture. The company is located in Zaporizhzhya region and produces granite at the Peredatochnin field, where there is a 43 hectare Left Bank quarry.
Since 1929, the company has been operating and is currently in the process of technical re-equipment, investing in the renewal of equipment and lines. The company is actively working to improve productivity and production efficiency at all sites.
The company's products are widely used by industrial enterprises and builders of residential buildings in the region, as well as in the construction of highways and infrastructure objects of state importance in Ukraine.
