An important event took place in Warsaw, Poland - the international conference “Europe - Poland - Ukraine. Let's rebuild together 2023.” The event brought together about 700 government representatives, experts and company representatives, leading analysts from Poland and Ukraine from various fields interested in cooperation such as energy, information technology, transport and logistics for direct exchange of ideas and experiences.
Among the participants of the event was Oleg Mashkov, CEO & Founder of VERNA.
The main goal of the conference is to discuss the prospects for the development of the economic situation in Ukraine and its impact on the world economy. The participants considered the current state of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation, the needs of the Ukrainian side and discussed the financial aspects of the future reconstruction.
Within the framework of the conference, 5 plenary and 4 sectoral sessions were held, during which many topical topics were highlighted, including the role of new information technologies in the recovery and development of the Ukrainian economy, the country's energy shift towards integration with the European Union, as well as the impact of economic migration on the labor market of Poland and Ukraine.
After more than 500 days of war, the perception of the economic partnership between Poland and Ukraine has changed radically. The experience gained during these extremely difficult months could prove to be very valuable in the process of Ukraine's planned recovery. This requires an intensive dialogue at the level of politics, administration and business. This brings us closer to creating a comprehensive plan - not only the reconstruction itself, but also the long-term development of the economies and the companies that contribute to them.
