VERNA has successfully completed a project to install a universal access control system in a large Ukrainian bank. The prerequisite for the implementation of this project was the need to ensure effective control of access to the bank's territory for both employees and visitors. An important task was to create the possibility of centralized accounting of staff working time to increase the level of discipline, optimize work processes and control productivity.
The objectives of implementing the system included:
• Automation of the process of registering the arrival and exit of employees.
• Increased security by restricting access to certain areas of the bank.
• Possibility of operational monitoring of the stay of employees and guests on the territory of the bank.
• Ensuring compliance with the rules of the internal mode of operation of the banking institution.
To implement these tasks, it was decided to implement a comprehensive access management system. During the competitive selection among IT companies, preference was given to VERNA, which offered the solution that best met the technical and functional requirements of the customer.
In the process of implementing the project:
• VERNA engineers selected and installed equipment that provided full access control.
• Installed hardware and software parts of the system based on ITV controllers.
• Integration of the access control system with the bank's existing IT solutions was carried out.
• Configured software module for accounting of working time, which allows you to keep accurate records of the presence of personnel.
• Testing of the system before putting it into industrial operation was carried out.
The implementation of this project has provided the bank with a number of significant advantages:
• Increased security - Access to the bank's facilities is limited according to the level of tolerance, which reduces the risks of unauthorized penetration.
• Automation of accounting of working time - The software module automatically calculates the day, night and overtime hours worked by each employee according to the schedule.
• Discipline analysis -The system provides reports on delays, absences and deviations from the work schedule, which allows management to make informed management decisions.
• Centralized management -All functions of the access and time accounting system are managed through a single administrative panel, which simplifies the control process.
• Scalability -The system can be extended to other branches of the bank without significant additional costs.
Thus, the implementation of the access control system from VERNA not only increased the level of security of the bank, but also optimized personnel management and control of working hours.
