VERNA has completed the project of creating an automated warehouse accounting system for the company's new logistics center based on wireless data collection terminals.
Provide full WI-FI network coverage of company warehouses with an area of more than 28000 m2.
Provide wireless access of other mobile devices to the main network resources of the enterprise and application software.
To calculate the optimal radio frequency coverage of the premises, VERNA specialists performed radio planing work using the software and hardware complex based on the PZTamograph Site Survey, which provided the optimal selection of wireless access points, their number and location.
As a result of the analysis, it was decided to build a WI-FI network on Cisco Aironet 1600e access points, which have an extended operating temperature range and are ideal for use in factory or warehouse premises. Efficient and dynamic control of access point parameters as well as overall wireless network management are provided by the Cisco CT2504 controller.
For the physical connection of access points to switching nodes, an extension project of the cable network system and the local node network was developed and implemented.
The implementation of the solution allowed AVK to provide reliable wireless coverage of the warehouse territory and the operation of the automated warehouse accounting system of goods and materials. The customer was able to significantly increase the efficiency of the logistics center and increase labor productivity.
Such a system allows you to receive data on the location of goods and its movement in real time, which, in turn, makes it possible to implement new, more efficient business processes at the enterprise.
