Building an IP video surveillance system with the possibility of video analytics

The aim of the project was to build a modern and functional video surveillance system to ensure the control and monitoring of the trading halls.

The following tasks were set in the project:

* Modernize the existing analog video surveillance system with a phased transition to IP

* Organize control over compliance with safety rules that meet current quality standards

* Ensure monitoring compliance with corporate customer service standards

* Promote the preservation of commodity units on the shelves of the hall

* Counting visitors for marketing purposes, etc

VERNA has completed a full range of work on the design, installation and commissioning of IP video surveillance system in 7 stores. Our specialists have developed demonstration stands for full simulation and testing of the system.

As a result, an analog video surveillance system was created from 30 Hikvision IP video cameras, which, in addition to the basic functions of collecting and transmitting a video signal, allows you to count store visitors.

The project to build an IP-video surveillance system of the network of BROCARD stores received an award in the nomination “Best project for the integration of video surveillance and video analytics systems 2016" within the framework of the XII Conference “Structured Cable Systems, Access Control and Control Systems and Video Surveillance”.
