The customer uses the leased space in a large logistics park on the territory of the Kiev region. Before the start of work, the customer's warehouses were not equipped with data transmission networks, which limited access to important information and made it difficult to carry out business processes related to accounting and movement of goods. The customer needed to increase the speed of processing applications and reduce the number of errors in the accounting system. There was a need for the design and construction of a structured cabling system (SCS), as well as a wireless data network within the logistics complex.
• Organization of communications in warehouses, offices and auxiliary premises with an area of 30 thousand square meters.
• Ensuring the continuous operation of the logistics center and customer services.
• Implementation of the project in a short time - 1.5 months.
During the implementation of the project, a heterogeneous data transmission medium was created. A structured cabling system (SCS) containing three switching centers and about 300 ports has been built. R&M Category 5e components were used for SCS. Due to the considerable distance between the switching centers, the connections are made using optical lines. All warehouses were covered by a Wi-Fi data network. The created SCS and Wi-Fi networks were integrated into the general network of the logistics center.
Features of the solution:
• Installation of SCS was carried out in rooms with a ceiling height of 8 meters and four-level storage racks.
• Taking into account the safety requirements and the availability of mobile transport in warehouses, the reservation of optical lines by combining them into a ring was implemented.

• Data on the actual state of warehouses and movement of goods is available at any time.
• The customer got the opportunity to promptly receive and ship the goods without delays and errors in the accounting system.
