Carrying out a full range of works on the design, installation and commissioning of a territorially distributed IP video surveillance system at the production sites of three AVK factories to ensure control and monitoring of production processes.
The management of the company “AVK” set the following tasks:
• Implementation of control over production processes and compliance with current quality standards;
• Monitoring compliance with rules and instructions related to labor protection and safety;
• Ensuring the preservation of the material values of the enterprise.
In the first phase of the project, an engineering infrastructure for the collection and transmission of video signals was established, which allows easy expansion and scaling of the system, as well as ensuring its smooth operation for three hours. VERNA specialists have laid more than 15 km of UTP 5e Molex cable and installed 60 distribution cabinets, which were specially designed for this project.
Distribution cabinets house access switches (with the required number of PoE ports to connect IP cameras), reliable Mean Well power supplies, and rechargeable batteries to ensure uninterrupted operation. The connection between the cabinets is carried out according to the “chain” or “ring” scheme. This solution allows you to completely cover the territory of production workshops and easily scale the system in the future.
In the second phase, more than 200 observation and 6 robotic Hikvision IP cameras were installed. The core of the system was chosen software and hardware complex based on IP video servers, which provides high quality video materials, reliability, scalability and modern video analysis algorithms.
The system has a distributed configuration, since IP video servers are located in different factories and operators work through remote workstations.
The implemented system allowed the management, the quality service, the heads and masters of the workshops, the safety and labor protection service of the company “AVK” in real time to control production processes, compliance with safety rules and the preservation of material values of the enterprise.
VERNA specialists successfully completed the project in a timely manner, which became the basis for further partnership between the companies and the conclusion of a new contract for the creation of IP video surveillance system at AVK's central warehouse.
