To carry out design and installation work on the creation of a structured cable system (SCS) in the new office of the company, located on four floors of a modern business center in the center of Kyiv.
During the development of the project, it was decided to organize the SCS according to the topology “hierarchical star”, taking into account the requirements of the standard ISO/IEC 11801:2010, with the organization of the main switching distribution node and the surface (zone) distribution nodes.
As the main subsystem, channels on optical components are used, with the ability to transfer data at speeds up to 10 Gbps, and backup on copper components, with the ability to transfer data at speeds up to 1 Gbps.
The horizontal subsystem is organized on the basis of category 5 copper shielded components manufactured by Panduit, which provide the creation of Class D channels.
The design was carried out in close cooperation with the project office of the developer, which made it possible to harmoniously link all engineering systems of the building and to do without making changes to the project at the stage of installation of the system.
As a result of the project, the company received a reliable, highly efficient and scalable SCS for the new office, designed for 700 jobs. All work was carried out strictly in accordance with the schedule of construction works.
