Due to the fact that the factory standard for network equipment is 3COM/HP, the HP 7506 switch was offered as the core switch, which meets the required functionality.
The HP 7500 Series Switch is a versatile modular switch designed to meet the growing needs of integrated service networks. It can be deployed in the core of the enterprise's local network, at the aggregation level or on the periphery of the switchboard. This series provides 40GbE connectivity and economical 10GbE ports for mission-critical applications and high-speed connectivity.
As a result of the installation of this switch, a fault-resistant network core was built. In the future, the Customer plans to update the fleet of access switches.
