DEK has set itself the goal of taking a leading position in the market of high-speed Internet access. The company's management considers the priority tasks of ensuring access to services at any time and their affordability.
To solve these problems, reliable basic solutions are required. As part of the modernization of the IT infrastructure, the company decided to create an information processing and storage center (data center).
• Due to the round-the-clock mode of load on the customer's IT system, special requirements for the availability and security of critical data and services are formulated.
• The DEC plans to provide end customers with “unlimited” Internet access without speed limits. To do this, it is necessary to modernize the network infrastructure.
Within the framework of the project, a false floor and an air conditioning system based on split systems are installed in the data center. Supply of NetShelter SX AR3157 48U, AR3350 48U APC server cabinets and 10kVA APC Smart RT backup power supplies.
The server cabinets are equipped with Dell PE1950 server hardware that provides basic applications and services, as well as a high-performance Cisco 7606 router. Service and technical support of the data center equipment is provided by VERNA. The equipment is covered by a standard warranty.
• The customer, who performed the functions of general contractor, was provided with maximum support from VERNA in the design and consultation on the construction of the data center and the modernization of the network infrastructure.
• The created data center provides the possibility of installing additional equipment depending on the needs of IT infrastructure development.
