For several years, the bank has developed according to a leadership-oriented strategy. One of the priority tasks of the bank is the creation of a national network for the provision of high-quality banking services. The intensive growth of the branch network required the creation of a distributed IT infrastructure.
For this, the bank needed a partner with experience in the rapid launch of new branches, logistics and service support throughout Ukraine. VERNA was chosen as a partner.
The bank developed the format of typical “Nice” branches with a recognizable design and original layout of the premises. According to the schedule for the commissioning of new branches, the period of their opening from the moment of construction readiness did not exceed 3-4 days. Special requirements related to the simultaneous launch of a large number of branches in different regions of Ukraine. For their work, it was necessary to create in the shortest possible time the infrastructure of all premises, including communications and equipment of workplaces, to provide the supply and installation of computer, office equipment and communication facilities.
As part of the project, SCS was installed based on R&M and Molex components with a total number of 3961 ports.
In each branch of the branch network, VERNA performed a complex of works:
• design and installation of SCS;
• network testing with the provision of a warranty certificate for a period of 20 years;
• supply and installation of computer and office equipment;
• installation and configuration of PBX;
• commissioning of the IT infrastructure of the department;
• transfer to the customer a complete set of technical documentation to the branch.
Scope of work on the project:
Phase 1 — 42 branches were opened in 31 cities, SCS at 1268 ports;
Phase 2 — 36 branches were opened in 28 cities, SCS at 990 ports;
Stage 3 — 23 branches were opened in 20 cities, SCS at 608 ports;
Stage 4 — 21 branches were opened in 14 cities, SCS at 1085 ports.
During the project, 122 branches of Svedbank in 64 cities of Ukraine have been built and handed over “turnkey” IT infrastructure.
• The original design of the premises required the use of modern solutions typical for the organization of an office with an open plan. To comply with the requirements of corporate standards, as well as create comfortable conditions for employees and customers, installation of SCS was carried out using installation mini-columns manufactured by Thorsman. This solution allows you to connect office workplaces, in particular, remote from the walls, through the floor or on the floor. If it is necessary to change the configuration of the room, the mini-columns are easily dismantled and installed in a new place.
• The plan to expand the branch network of Svedbank provided for the simultaneous launch of several dozen branches in extremely short time.
