At 430 units of urban public electric transport in Kharkiv, we installed specialized equipment within the framework of the implementation of the “Electronic Ticket” project.
The “Electronic Ticket” project in Kharkiv is a system of cashless payment for travel in urban electric transport: metro, tram, trolleybus using an electronic ticket. The ticket is used to travel directly on transport, as well as to replenish travel cards.
VERNA specialists installed Microelectronika equipment, manufactured in the Czech Republic, on each vehicle:
· on-board computer
· OCU-10 central communication module
· GPS/UMTS antenna, which was installed on the roof, with sealing holes
· BEC validators depending on the number of doors
· On-board voltage stabilizer
Due to the peculiarities of the operation of urban electric transport, installation work was carried out mainly at night.
In the process of work, there was a need to reflash the validator software, which was implemented on more than 1500 units.
In addition to the installation of equipment in transport, we connected 157 ART-73KN ground terminals for the sale of disposable electronic tickets and replenishment of permanent tickets at public transport stops.
The electronic ticket system provides convenience and speed of fare payment, reducing queues at stops and eliminating the possibility of selling fake tickets. In addition, it allows you to collect statistics and analyze the movement of passengers in urban electric transport to optimize routes and improve the quality of service.
The introduction of the “Electronic Ticket” system improves the quality of service and helps to develop public transport in the city.
As a result of the successful implementation of the project, VERNA confirmed its high level of professional competence and readiness to perform complex tasks in the field of urban transport infrastructure.
