Verna designed, installed and launched a video surveillance system with video analytics and integrated the analytics into the access control system at the Smart Granit enterprise, which produces on a granite field in Zaporizhzhya region.
The project was implemented within the framework of the program of large-scale rearmament and upgrading of SmartGranit production lines, strengthening warehouse logistics and infrastructure facilities.
VERNA project department specialists conducted a technical inspection of the facility, developed technical documentation - projects, estimates for IP video surveillance, determined the needs and areas of application of video analytics, integrated video surveillance with access control, performed installation and commissioning work.
To restrict access at the entrance to the enterprise, a system of automatic recognition of autonomous numbers using video analytics is installed. The cameras track the cars entered in the database, and after passing the automatic identification of the numbers, provide vehicle access to the enterprise.
Recognized numbers are used by the customer as a parameter to record the time of the vehicle being in the controlled territory and quickly find the necessary video files, screenshots and video fragments in a multi-hour video archive.
For security purposes, we designed and installed an access control system with alcohol testing and face recognition at the passing enterprise. Photos of all employees of the enterprise are entered into the general database and before starting work, all undergo mandatory automatic alcohol testing and only then gain access to the territory of the enterprise. Access to the administrative building is organized by cards and equipped with an intercom.
LLC “Smart Granit”specializes in the production of granite rubble, crushed stone, granite screed and sand-gravel mixture.
The company produces at the Peredatochnin granite deposit in Zaporizhzhya region. The development is under the so-called. Left-bank quarry with an area of 43 hectares.
The company has been operating since 1929 and is now in an active phase of technical re-equipment, investing in the renewal of equipment and lines. Active work is underway to improve productivity and production efficiency at all sites. The company's products are widely used by industrial enterprises and builders of residential buildings in the region, as well as in the construction of highways and infrastructure objects of state importance in Ukraine.
