A feature of the project is the integration of various technologies, services, types of equipment and data used in the enterprise. Cisco's new network core equipment has been assembled, configured, and put into operation in hot-swap mode without interrupting enterprise operations. The implemented solution has a five-year warranty.
VERNA has delivered, installed, configured and commissioning Cisco equipment, as well as its integration into the existing enterprise system. Thanks to the modular architecture, the solution provides the necessary level of security, reliability and control. The implementation also allows you to flexibly change the network configuration depending on changes in the needs of new equipment or services. The work on the modernization of the network core was preceded by the audit of the network infrastructure and the development of a plan for the phased migration of network services to new equipment.
Increased performance and resilience of the network core has been achieved through the application of the Cisco Catalyst 4500 series switch, which integrates data, voice and video streams. A Cisco ISR 3845 router was used to interact with different data environments.
The modernization of the network infrastructure provided a continuous and controlled flow of data for the production and management services of the enterprise. In particular, reliable exchange of information on the status of payments from consumers, telemetry data on the parameters of the power system, operational information on all types of resources, as well as data on financial planning and accounting is ensured.
We were faced with the task of selecting a solution that would allow, on the one hand, to create a secure and high-performance network, and on the other hand, to reduce implementation costs. As a result of the implementation of this project, a reliable and well-managed network platform was created.
The solution fully meets our data performance and security requirements.
