The customer set the task to update the fleet of active network equipment in connection with the modernization of the network infrastructure of the enterprise and to carry out the supply of active network equipment.
To modernize the network with the functionality required by the customer, the technical specialists of VERNA recommended and subsequently the customer chose the smart secure intelligent secure access level switches with a fixed configuration of the Cisco WS-C3750-X and Cisco WS-C2960 series, which reduce the total cost of ownership. We offered Cisco equipment as the main vendor because it has the advantage of having a wide portfolio of solutions covering virtually the entire range of networking tasks.
Cisco Catalyst 3750-X series switches are enterprise-class lines of stacked and stand-alone switches, respectively. These switches have provided the customer with a high level of availability, scalability, security, energy efficiency and ease of operation with innovative technologies such as Cisco StackPower, IEEE 802.3at Power Over Ethernet Plus (PoE+). They support optional network modules, backup power supplies, Media Access Control Security (MacSec) security features.
The use of Cisco Catalyst 2960 series switches made it easier to operate the IT infrastructure, increase the level of security of business processes, ensure the sustainable operation of the network, and provide users with the ability to work in networks without borders.
As a result of the implementation of this project, the Customer received the necessary equipment in the shortest possible time to cover the tasks of modernization of the network infrastructure. The result of the successful implementation of the project was the continuation of the partnership relations between our companies and the planned further ways of developing the network infrastructure of the enterprise.
