VERNA has completed a project for PJSC “VOLKSBANK”, within which our specialists implemented a high-performance intrusion prevention system that protects the bank's core services, network perimeter and demilitarized zone, and implemented a system of comprehensive correlation and event processing.
The established security infrastructure allows PJSC “VOLKSBANK” to provide financial services with a high level of continuity and availability.
During the project, VERNA specialists conducted:
• Analysis of the bank's infrastructure, network and its services.
• Placement and configuration of equipment.
• Creation of security policies.
• Testing the performance of the entire system.
The project included the installation and configuration of:
• Cisco IPS Core Network/Data Point Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems.
• Intrusion detection and prevention module for Cisco ASA integrated security device.
• Cisco MARS Correlation and Event Handling Systems.
The implementation of the intrusion prevention system and the system of correlation and event handling allowed PJSC “VOLKSBANK”:
• Increase the overall level of security of the corporate network.
• Increase the speed and efficiency of detection and response of information security department employees to potential incidents.
• Conduct deeper analysis and monitoring of workflows and network security incidents.
• Prospectively carry out certification in accordance with the international information security standards ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and ISO/IEC 27002:2005.
