At the end of 2022, Ukraine faced a shortage of capacity to store and process grain of the new crop. At the moment, almost all grain elevators are filled with more than 90 percent of last year's harvest. Therefore, a large number of agricultural enterprises decided to organize temporary storage sites in some open areas.
When organizing temporary storage sites in open areas, the issue of monitoring this infrastructure to prevent theft arose. Some of these sites are located either in fields or in areas without ready communications.
For such cases, we have implemented a video surveillance system that is quickly installed and does not require major construction, such as concreting poles or installing fences. CCTV cameras are fixed on temporary supports, connected to a single network using fiber optics.
For remote monitoring of the sites, mobile network modems or Wi-Fi bridges are used.
There is also a solution for sites without a power supply. In this case, a diesel generator or solar panels are used.
The advantage of this system is its easy dismantling and reusability for the next season or for upgrading the existing infrastructure of the agricultural enterprise.
