After the analysis by VERNA specialists of the customer's IT equipment and the degree of availability of the business processes that this equipment provides, it was decided to organize a guaranteed supply of IT equipment according to the 2N scheme, taking into account the possible increase in the load. This scheme involves the supply of two independent power lines.
At the heart of each power line is the Smart-UPS VT IBP, which inherited the highest reliability of the recognized Smart-UPS line, and provides centralized three-phase power protection. IBP Smart-UPS VT is ideal for small data centers, large stores, regional offices and high energy density environments. It is equipped with dual power input, automatic and service bypass units.
Increased operational readiness is provided by a scalable battery system with the possibility of hot replacement of individual modules. The rack-mounted model occupies a minimum area thanks to the combination of the UPS, the power distribution unit and additional batteries in one compact rack.
Low cost of ownership is achieved thanks to best-in-class efficiency and reduced rated power of electrical infrastructure — wires, transformers and generators, as the Smart-UPS VT IBP supports the “soft start” function.
APC network control board with temperature monitoring function supports remote monitoring and control via a simple Web/SNMP interface, and also easily integrates with InfraStruxure Manager software.
The IT equipment, which has two or more power supplies, connects to two independent power lines through APC rack power distribution units (BRP) with the function of measuring the power consumption of individual outputs and provides remote monitoring of each outlet in real time, giving IT professionals the ability to expand power management.
The IT equipment, which is equipped with only one power supply, is connected through automatic backup devices, which will switch the critical load to a second source without delay.
The implementation of this project made it possible to provide high-tech IT equipment that provides the Customer's business processes in 24x7x365 mode, guaranteed failure-proof power supply.
