In connection with the expansion of the business and the opening of a new line of activity - an online store for the sale of seafood - the company needed a comprehensive set of IT solutions. The main objective was to ensure the smooth functioning of the IT infrastructure, which included server equipment, network devices and data storage systems necessary for the stable operation of the online platform, transaction support and data security.
To ensure the efficient operation of the IT services of the online store, a project of support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure was implemented, which included the implementation of the following works:
• Maintenance of IBM Server-based SAN Switches and Storage Systems (SSDs) and Blade Chassis with IBM Servers. This ensured the safety and availability of data for all business processes of the company
• Maintenance of virtual infrastructure, which made it possible to optimize the use of server resources, increase productivity and provide flexible scaling of IT systems.
• Configure a routing cluster based on the Checkpoint 4800 UTM device to increase network security and provide protection against external threats.
• Install and configure new equipment to increase network performance and reserve resources.
• Configure the Cisco 2960 Switch Cluster to provide seamless network connectivity, load balancing, and increase network failure tolerance.
Thanks to the implementation of this project, Global Fish Ukraine has received a reliable IT infrastructure that meets modern security and efficiency standards. This made it possible to successfully launch an online store, ensure a high level of service availability for customers and support further business growth.
