The joint project of VERNA and Clover Stors - the SIM23 and Simi store chain, which is now the most dynamically developing, is aimed at implementing video analytics systems to optimize work and improve customer service throughout the network.
On the initiative of the business intelligence department of the SIM23 network in the spring of 2021, we launched a project to implement an intelligent video surveillance system, which quickly led to positive results in the operation of stores. The project includes the design, supply and implementation of video analytics systems consisting of data processing servers, video surveillance cameras and specialized software. We also trained SIM23 specialists in the administration and support of video analytics systems.
For three years, we have implemented the following video analytics systems: queue control, visitor counting, cash control. To effectively manage the implemented video analytics, VERNA installed and successfully configured the Video Management System (VMS). As part of the cooperation, a pilot project of a shelf filling system using video analytics was also carried out.
The video analytics system has greatly facilitated the processes of queue control, visitor counting and cash register management, which has led to an increase in the efficiency of operations in the chain's stores.
Implemented queue control with video analytics allows you to monitor the quality of service and customer satisfaction, increasing their loyalty to the network. This system has proven itself as an effective tool for optimizing customer service processes in the network. It provides Sim23 administration with constant control over the flow of visitors, improving the quality of service and improving the overall customer experience.
Thanks to the introduction of VMS (Video Management System), SIM23 video surveillance specialists have the ability to conduct real-time monitoring, which contributes to the prompt response to potential problems or events. The ability to record and save video materials allows them to be used for analysis or as an evidence base. Using VMS provides the ability to access the video system from anywhere via the Internet. Another important function used by the customer is remote monitoring of the performance of video cameras.
