The project provided for the modernization of the IT infrastructure of the optical system, including the installation of new servers, data storage system, active network equipment, as well as the modernization of the optical system.

The modernization of the optical system allowed to significantly increase the data transfer rate, productivity and efficiency, reduce the response time of the system, the risk of network failures and data loss, ensure maximum network reliability.
Modern and reliable infrastructure environment of Megabank.
We organized 48 OM3/OM4 optical channels, 96 fibers, in 1U 19” optical panels between the MDA R00 central switching cabinet and each EDA R01-R05 cabinet. For this purpose, 2U 19” organizers (48 slots/sections) were installed under each panel.
5pcs were installed in the MDA R00 cabinet. Fiber Panel 1U (24 LC QUAD), 96LC port OM3, total 240 LC-Duplex channels (480 ports).
The main optical cable contains 12 OM3 fibers. Each cabinet comes with 8 cables, which are divided into 2 bundles of 4 cables, for insertion into the patch panel through the left and right input. The cables are connected in patch panels in cassettes with LC OM3 pigments by welding using the welding machine FO Fitel 178A ver.2, Fitel 179.
For switching, existing LC, OM3 optical cables and supplied with server equipment, data storage system and active network equipment are used.
To organize the stock of optical patch cords, 2U organizers, 48 slots/sections, 400 mm deep, are installed in the cabinets. In each slot, you can fold 2-3 rings of 2.5 m optical patch cord d 3mm.
After the installation work was completed, our VERNA specialists made control measurements of each fiber optic line with the Fluke Versiv Optifiber Pro (OTDR) tester (OLTS), Certifiber Pro (OLTS) and reflectometer (OTDR) according to ISO/IEC 14763-3:2014 and ANSI/TIA-568.3-D-1.
Based on OLTS tests, Commscope provided a 25-year warranty on the mounted optical cable network.
Commscope 25-year warranty is a quality program for network infrastructure products such as cables, connectors, patch panels and other components manufactured by this company since they were installed. The warranty means that these products will operate properly for 25 years from the time they are installed in accordance with Commscope's installation and operation guidelines.
Commscope undertakes to replace any product that does not meet these standards free of charge during the warranty period.
