Backup power supply system

VERNA specialists have developed a typical solution for the organization of stable operation of stores and bank branches under any conditions.

For stores, we reserve power at 2 points — checkout area and server area. We connect 2 laptops, 2 cash printers and 2 barcode scanners to the cash register area. We connect video surveillance and WI-FI network to the server area.

We calculate the required battery capacity for a given hour of operation and the number of connected equipment and select the required uninterruptible power supply device.

Backup communication channels

For a stable Internet, we build two backup communication channels. In case of loss of signal from the main provider, the system automatically switches to a backup communication channel. A router with support for a mobile network operates on GSM 4G or 3G frequency, depending on the coverage of the operator.

Another backup emergency communication channel is organized on Starlink equipment. It is used as a separate device and is not involved in the operation of the entire system and the store.

After design and installation, we carry out further support of Starlink and other equipment.
