To ensure the possibility of providing new customer services and communication with customers in the retail network, VERNA specialists have built a distributed secure scalable wireless network in more than 30 flagship stores of the Eldorado retail network in all regions of Ukraine.
As part of the project, VERNA specialists carried out a set of measures to select the optimal wireless network configuration for Eldorado stores.
Our engineers analyzed the radio wave propagation and coverage area in each future network. Based on the data obtained, we developed wireless Wi-Fi network coverage maps for each store, found the optimal places for installing access points, determined the required number and power of access points, selected additional communication equipment for all stores.
Future networks have been designed in such a way that they do not have dead zones without coverage. At the same time, when planning, we took into account the possible signals of other overlapping access points, and tried to avoid them.
After the project was approved, our engineers completed the installation work and tested the wireless Wi-Fi networks for compliance with the expected parameters.
Thanks to the pre-conducted radio reconnaissance, we have built a secure, scalable Wi-Fi network for the stores of the Eldorado shopping network using a minimum number of equipment units.
Radio planing helped the customer to reduce the cost of network implementation costs and increase the quality of radio coverage, thereby increasing the reliability of communication.
